Hori Naoyori
堀直寄(直竒)
1577–1639
An early Edo-period daimyo who moved from Nagaoka to Murakami with 100,000 koku, built a three-tiered keep at Murakami Castle and completed a castle town enclosed by earthen banks and moats.
