足利貞氏
Head of the Ashikaga clan in the Kamakura period and father of Ashikaga Takauji, founder of the Muromachi shogunate. He rebuilt Banna-ji's burned main hall in 1299.
The hall he rebuilt was an early adopter of the Zen style, then a new building fashion from China, and it became a National Treasure in 2013 as one of the oldest examples of the style in the Kanto region.
