堀尾吉晴
A warrior who served Toyotomi Hideyoshi. After the Battle of Sekigahara his family became lords of Izumo and Oki, and he built Matsue Castle.
He built the castle on Kameda hill by Lake Shinji, and the keep was finished by the first month of 1611. He died that same year; the common story that he died before completion is disputed.
