今川氏真
Son of Imagawa Yoshimoto. After his father was killed at Okehazama, he was driven from Suruga by the Takeda and in 1568 took refuge in Kakegawa Castle, held by his senior retainer Asahina Yasutomo.
The next year, after a six-month siege by Tokugawa Ieyasu, he gave up the castle under a peace agreement. The legend of the Mist-Spraying Well, whose mist is said to have hidden the castle from the attackers, dates from this siege.
