石川康長
Son of Ishikawa Kazumasa and the second lord of Matsumoto Castle. He continued his father's work and built the keep that still stands today.
Matsumoto City's official view is that the keep was built under Yasunaga in 1593–94. The castle's largest stone, the Genba Stone of about 22.5 tons, is said to have been hauled in on his orders and is named after his court title, Genba-no-kami.
