北畠具教
Eighth head of the Kitabatake family. He took over in the late 1530s and expanded the family's territory. In 1569 he fought Oda Nobunaga and made peace by adopting Nobunaga's second son.
In 1576 he and members of his family were killed on Nobunaga's orders, ending some 240 years of Kitabatake rule from Tage.
