Lord of Shinoridate, named in the Matsumae domain's history Shinra no Kiroku as Kobayashi Tarozaemon-no-jo Yoshikage, master of the fort at Shinori. The Japan Castle Foundation lists him as the fort's builder.
The Shinra no Kiroku entry for 1457 records that Ainu people rose up and attacked Yoshikage's fort. In 1512, under his son Yataro Yoshisada, the fort was taken again.
