A Hojo commander who is said to have fought Toyotomi forces around the Third Bailey and the Daisaki outwork during the 1590 battle at Yamanaka, and to have died there.
His daughter is said to have founded Sokanji Temple on the site of the Third Bailey in 1620 to pray for him. Mishima City features him on one of the castle's warlord commemorative seals.
