A retainer of the Hojo clan of Odawara who commanded Yamanaka Castle when Toyotomi forces attacked in 1590.
The castle fell in half a day, and Yasunaga is said to have died in the fighting. His grave stands at Sokanji Temple on the site of the Third Bailey, alongside those of warriors from both sides.
