松平家乗
A daimyo of the Ogyu-Matsudaira family who became lord of Iwamura in 1601 and founded the Iwamura domain. Ena City attributes the castle remains seen today to the Ogyu-Matsudaira rebuilding.
He moved the lord's residence from the mountaintop to the northwest foot of Shiroyama and laid out the castle town. The Iwamura History Museum now stands on that residence site.
