An uncle of Oda Nobunaga, said to have founded Inuyama Castle around 1537 by moving his base from Kinoshita Castle.
In 1547 he joined his brother Oda Nobuhide's attack on the Saito clan's Inabayama Castle in Mino and died in the campaign. His son Nobukiyo inherited the castle.
