仙石忠政
An early Edo-period lord of Ueda. He moved from Komoro to Ueda in 1622 and rebuilt Ueda Castle, which had been left demolished.
Tadamasa began rebuilding the castle in 1626, but he died in 1628 and the work stopped unfinished. The turrets and stone walls in the main enclosure today go back to this rebuilding.
