尚巴志
King of Chuzan who conquered Hokuzan and Nanzan, uniting the three powers of Okinawa Island and founding the Ryukyu Kingdom (First Sho dynasty) in 1429.
After conquering Hokuzan he sent his second son, Sho Chu, to Nakijin in 1422 as governor of the north. The reasons given are that the area was far from Shuri, rugged, and home to fierce people who might rebel. No such governor was placed in Nanzan.
