Lord of Torigoe Castle. Said to have been sent by Honganji, he led the sect's followers at the foot of Mt. Haku in resisting Oda forces to the end.
In 1580 he was lured to Matto Castle by a ruse of the Oda general Shibata Katsuie and killed, and Torigoe Castle fell.
