天徳寺宝衍(佐野房綱)
A member of the Sano family that ruled Karasawa Castle. A friend of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, he won the castle back from the Hojo side during the 1590 Odawara campaign and took the name Sano Fusatsuna.
After retaking the castle, in 1592 he adopted Nobutane, son of Hideyoshi's retainer Tomita Tomonobu (later Sano Nobuyoshi). This is thought to have been the start of Karasawa's rebuilding as a stone-walled castle.
