徳川忠長
Son of the second shogun Hidetada and younger brother of the third shogun Iemitsu. He became lord of Sunpu Castle in 1624, after Ieyasu's death.

Story
In 1631 he was ordered into confinement in Kofu (later Takasaki), and Sunpu Castle was left without a lord; castle keepers ran it until the end of the shogunate.
