鳥居強右衛門
A foot soldier serving Okudaira Nobumasa, lord of Nagashino. During the 1575 siege he slipped out to ask for help at Okazaki Castle, and was captured and crucified on his way back.
The Takeda offered to spare him and reward him if he told the castle no help was coming. Instead he shouted that reinforcements were on the way, and was crucified. A Tokugawa retainer, Ochiai Sahei, was so moved that he is said to have painted Suneemon's crucifixion on his own battle banner.
