Uesugi Kenshin
上杉謙信
1530–1578
A Sengoku-period warlord who ruled Echigo (today's Niigata Prefecture). He made Kasugayama Castle his home and led campaigns into Hokuriku, the Kanto region and Shinano. He was born Nagao Kagetora.
