Torii Tadamasa
鳥居忠政
1566–1628
A daimyo and retainer of the Tokugawa. He became lord of Yamagata in 1622 after the Mogami family was dispossessed, and his major rebuilding gave Yamagata Castle roughly the shape it has today.
A flatland castle in Iwaki, Fukushima. Records credit Torii Tadamasa with building it in 1615.
