The fifth son of Takeda Shingen and the last Takeda commander of Takato Castle. In 1582 he held the castle against a huge army under Oda Nobutada and died in the fighting.
A mountain castle in Itoigawa, Niigata. It is said to have been built by Uesugi Kenshin.

A Sengoku-period warlord who ruled Echigo (today's Niigata Prefecture). He made Kasugayama Castle his home and led campaigns into Hokuriku, the Kanto region and Shinano. He was born Nagao Kagetora.
