Ii Naomasa
井伊直政
1561–1602
A leading general of Tokugawa Ieyasu. When Ieyasu took over the Kanto region in 1590, Naomasa was given Minowa Castle, and in 1598 he moved his castle to Takasaki. He later founded the Hikone domain.
