Story

The early Edo-period memoir Ishikawa Shosai Kenmonshu says Satonari built on Kasama's mountaintop a structure that looked like a keep from outside, cleverly raising posts of different lengths on the bare rock, and praises him as a man of real ingenuity. He is thought to have been sent to one Gamo castle after another, including Miharu, to build stone walls.
