北条氏照
Third son of Hojo Ujiyasu, third head of the Hojo clan of Odawara. He moved his base from Takiyama Castle and built Hachioji Castle.
When Toyotomi Hideyoshi attacked the Hojo in 1590, Ujiteru fought from inside Odawara Castle, and Hachioji Castle fell in his absence on June 23. After Odawara surrendered, he and his elder brother Ujimasa were made to commit ritual suicide below the castle.
