Oda Nobukatsu

Second son of Oda Nobunaga. Adopted into the Kitabatake family in 1569 as part of a peace deal, he later took over the family and ruled southern Ise. He also used the names Tomotoyo and Nobuoki.
A flatland castle in Kiyosu, Aichi. Records credit Yoshishige Shiba with building it in 1405.

The Sengoku warlord who unified Owari province. In 1567 he seized Inabayama Castle, renamed it Gifu Castle, and for about ten years, until moving to Azuchi in 1576, used it as his base for unifying Japan.
