田丸城
A fort founded by a Southern Court noble was rebuilt by Nobunaga's second son with a three-tiered keep, and its stone base still crowns the hill.

Second son of Oda Nobunaga. Adopted into the Kitabatake family in 1569 as part of a peace deal, he later took over the family and ruled southern Ise. He also used the names Tomotoyo and Nobuoki.
In 1575 he rebuilt Tamaru Castle with stone walls and a three-tiered keep, but after arson destroyed it in 1580 he moved to Matsugashima Castle.
