An international organization that supports mine action around the world through research on mine action technologies and methods and the development of the IMSMA information management system.
Activities
It conducts research on landmine and unexploded ordnance (UXO) countermeasures, shares knowledge on detection and clearance methods, develops and helps introduce the Information Management System for Mine Action (IMSMA), and advises national mine action authorities. IMSMA is used in more than 40 countries, including Cambodia.
