Kampong Cham （コンポンチャム州）

A province in eastern Cambodia; its capital is Kampong Cham. Its population in the 2019 census was about 900,000, and it is one of the eight eastern provinces with confirmed unexploded ordnance contamination from US bombing.

UXO situation

One of the eight eastern provinces with confirmed contamination by cluster munition remnants (CMR) from US bombing during the Vietnam War. The baseline survey (2009-2018) recorded about 35.9 km2 of CMR contamination and about 11.1 km2 of other unexploded ordnance (UXO) contamination. (Target year: 2019) [Ref 0085]
