Komatsu Ltd.
A Japanese company that makes construction machinery. Using anti-personnel demining machines it developed itself, it works with the NPO JMAS to support demining and community development in Cambodia.
Activities
It provides anti-personnel demining machines and construction equipment, and, with JMAS as its partner, supports community development by building roads and elementary schools on cleared land. Since 2016, it has also extended its activities to UXO countermeasures in Laos.
Achievements
In 2003, with support from the government (NEDO), it developed its first anti-personnel demining machine. (Target year: 2003) [Ref 0065]
