Koh Kong （コッコン州）

A province in southwestern Cambodia; its capital is Khemarak Phoumin (Koh Kong). Its population in the 2019 census was about 126,000, and it is one of the provinces with confirmed remaining anti-personnel mine contamination.

Landmine situation

As of July 1, 2025, an estimated 5.0 km2 (4,986,230 m2) of anti-personnel mine contamination remains. This is down from the end-2024 estimate (about 15.8 km2) as surveys progressed. In 2024, NPMEC and other operators carried out clearance in the province. (Target year: 2025) [Ref 0084]
