表示している潮流は、海上保安庁の各海上交通センターが実際に測って公開している値です。 推算ではありません。ただし、その海峡の1地点(備讃瀬戸は4地点)の値です。 実際の潮流は場所で変わります。航路の東側と西側でも違います。
順潮・逆潮の判定は、その海峡を通る代表的な向きに対して当サイトが計算したものです。 実際の針路とは違います。目安としてご覧ください。
航海には必ず海上保安庁刊行の潮汐表と、各海上交通センターの提供する情報を使ってください。 このページは、それを開く前に「いまどっち向きに流れているか」をつかむためのものです。
Rates are observed values published by Japan Coast Guard VTS centres — not predictions. However each figure represents a single observation point per strait (four for Bisan Seto), and actual currents vary across the channel. Fair/foul is computed by this site against a representative transit heading, not your actual course. For navigation, always use the official tide tables and VTS information.
