Moheji of Tsukishima opens its first shop in South Korea, in Seoul
Moheji, a monja specialist brand from Tsukishima, has opened its first shop in South Korea, at 42 Donhwamun-ro 11-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul. As an overseas opening by a monja specialist, it follows One Bangkok in Bangkok. Local reporting says staff cook at the table, and that the menu includes mentaiko-mochi monja, seafood monja and squid-ink monja. Opening hours and closing days are not confirmed from primary sources.

The cooperative lists 48 member shops (the Ministry states 54)
The Tsukishima Monja Promotion Cooperative's official site lists 48 member shops. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' Uchi no Kyodo Ryori page says 54 are members. Whether the difference is one of publication date or a real decline is not established. It is on the list to check at the next update.

Ibaraki's official food guide updated, listing two tarashi shops in Oarai
Ibaraki's official tourism site has updated its Oarai food guide. Two shops appear under "tarashi". Wikipedia, meanwhile, states that as of 2021 only four or five shops still served it. There may be more shops that can make it than appear in official tourist information.

Moheji makes its first move abroad, at One Bangkok
Moheji of Tsukishima has opened on the basement level of One Bangkok, a large mixed-use development in Bangkok. Local reporting says cooks were sent from the Tokyo shops to carry over the taste and the atmosphere. The first case we could confirm in this survey of a monja specialist going abroad on its own.
