Ways to meet the culture
The most important column is the last one: whether a real, active maiko or geiko is present. A makeover studio is a fine afternoon, but nobody there is a maiko.

Price bands come from operator listings and guidebooks, not from official sources, and change often. We rank nothing here: rankings will follow our own visits.
